The Workforce for an Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem

The Workforce for Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (WISE) is a joint effort between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) aimed at supporting Vietnam in its National Strategy on the Fourth Industrial Revolution through 2030, with the goal of innovating the country’s continuous economic growth model.
This initiative is implemented within the framework of USAID’s U.S. Support for Economic Growth in Asia (US-SEGA) program, targeting improvements in the institutional environment to promote prosperity and sustainable economic growth. USAID WISE will support interventions to expand specialized skill segments within Vietnam’s labor market, thereby fostering upward trends and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam’s workforce. The National Innovation Center (NIC) serves as the primary partner from the Government of Vietnam for the WISE initiative.
MBI Innovation is a subcontractor that implements the WISE project in Vietnam.
