Ms. On Mai Sa is currently a Senior Project Manager at MBI, where she leverages her extensive experience in economic development. With a strong background in policy reform, business environment improvement, and trade facilitation, she has spent years working on impactful projects. She collaborates seamlessly with international development agencies and government bodies, focusing on boosting economic competitiveness, simplifying trade processes, and promoting regional integration in Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
Ms. Sa has held several key roles, including Program Manager for Governance and Policy Reform at USAID’s Improving Private Sector Competitiveness Program and Senior Officer for Regional Economic Integration at GIZ. She also coordinated regional trade facilitation for USAID, served nearly six years as a Government Official at Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) focusing on international trade policy and Free Trade Agreements, and worked as a Senior Project Officer for the EU’s MUTRAP. Her expertise is backed by an MBA from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and an MA in Public Administration from The University of Queensland.
